Yes, definitely one downside to buying my lease truck, but it has enough creature comforts to satisfy me for now....

If it didn't have a diesel APU and an AMT transmission I don't think I would buy it...

I plan on new shocks and centramatics real soon. An air dump valve and suspension gauge is on the radar as well. And we'll see what else....

    Roll on...

Those drink holders are ridiculous as well. I don't like how they stick out like that.

Fuel surcharge is probably crashing again. I've been fueling for less than 2 bucks the last couple weeks.

That doesn't account for a .30 a mile drop in LHL rate

It doesn't no, but new contracts may have been signed and the customer demanded lower rates. Who knows. Werner started dropping customers it's gotten so bad.

Plain and simple the economy still sucks contrary to what some certain people in DC want to sit there and say... we can see it firsthand being that were involved in the freight that moves the economy so they can blow smoke up somebody else's behind

Lol remember 2008, this is better than that time period, the economy is changing and very few people want to address that.

One of the mfg companies I worked for has allowed their workforce to decline through retirements on the factory floor, their plan, replace the workers through the use of automation. Now mind you when I worked in management our plan was to partner with a local community college to develop an appretiship program to train skilled workers...

And the new management team were directly involved in the Romney campaign btw, both parties are looking past what so many manufacturers are now doing.

The economy only grew 1.2% last quarter... That is very dismal
