US 250 in S.E Ohio...runs along Tappan Lake. Lots of pull offs that a trucker can pull over and overnight right on the water.

There is a Rest Area on I-57S on Rend Lake that you can probably swim.

There is a truck stop in Searsport Me US Rt 1 that you can walk to the water, but its cold lol.

Run hwy 12 from Lewiston ID to Lolo MT. There are a lot of places to park and take a dip in the river. And there is also Jerry Johnson hot springs if you don't mind a hike. The natural pools are clothing optional. Then there's Lolo Hot Springs. They have a pool and truck parking.

in canada you can pretty much jump in anything as long as the current isn't strong. lakes are usually safe as well although there can be leeches....hwy 17 in ontario has some nice spots.

i want to swim in the US but all the possible water snakes in the south and west and the crocs in louisiana and florida freak me out...
