From what I just went through 3 days ago, they don't care if he has 2 years or 20 years. You're still going to go out with a mentor to move to an A seat.

My comprehension is fine. My sympathy, however, isn't. If someone's attitude is that of a 10 year old who didn't get what he asked Santa for, I'm gonna call someone on it.

I'm sick of people who blame everyone else for their problems and don't have the desire to learn what they could improve on in the way of personal skills and responsibility.

Could he have legitimately gotten a raw deal? Yes. It happens. But when it does, it's not the circumstances that will dictate the outcome...it's our attitude towards them. I guarantee you that the people at Prime who are happy are that way by nature, NOT because they've gotten lucky.

Be humble, be honest, be willing to roll with the punches. You'll be much happier. That's not exclusive to trucking.

I may have come across pretty crass. I apologize. But Jiminy Crickets...some people just need to lighten up.

    <Archangel> Thanks this.

Let's add to that flatbed securement training is a minimum of 30 days out w/ a flatbed trainer. OJT. So they can hopefully see a variety of securement loads and techniques. I say MINIMUM because it is up to the trainer and the FM as to whether or not you are ready for solo.
