Mont, make sure you ask your recruiter about travel reimbursement if your flying(or driving). They will pay $0.10/mile probably based on HHG miles. I drove to Springfield from Maine and got $160.00 cash when finished orientation.

Another question, I was told that I have to supply all my load securement tools, How much can I expect to pay for that?

If your going flatbed, I think its like $55.00 deduction till its paid and if you decide to leave they reimburse you for the total amount.

It's $2500 for all the equipment. Taken out in $55.00 increments. Prime supplies everything, you just pay for it. Gives you a better reason to take care of it all. Prime is actually the cheapest place to buy most of the stuff.

Wow, $2500, thats a wad of cash, but i do understand why they do it, and at that price, ill be sure to treat it like Gold. Im pretty excited about getting started. Im planning on showing up in Springfield on the 26'th, it will give me a day to get out and check out the Prime facilities, and hopefully meet a few drivers. Im starting to think im gonna be going through orientation all by myself, it seems most people are starting the week after New Years.
