Brought this one home today
2000 379 with a C 12 cat and a super 10 transmission with 370 rears.
410 hp 1550 tq. 1.1 mm
Runs real good had rods and mains rolled in about 250,000 miles ago and have all the paperwork on all the engine work they did. Came out of a local fleet here in Phoenix that halls cement powder-ash.
They had about five of them for sale this was the best of the lot.
Will get it cleaned up and put a fresh coat of paint and put her to work.

Looks like a cool ride. I was looking at a blue 97 like that on Craigslist out there. Looks like it may have come out of that fleet.

The oldest they have now are 2000 model year, no 90's left anymore.
Still has 3 more of these to unload. -
How does a single screw Pete handle? Do you feel every ladybug?

What kind of work are you planning to do with it?

I picked up a new account where I have to go into strip malls to deliver office and lobby furniture for new dental clinics. Parking lots are very tight and my Volvo is just too big to get close enough, so this will make it easier.OLDSKOOLERnWV and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
How's the ride quality?
-
Oh yeah, that's definitely a better tool for that job. Furniture is light enough to where a twin screw isn't necessary. I used to deliver furniture to strip malls (usually a Rent-A-Center) and mom-and-pop's in a Volvo 670 sleeper/53 ft van and trying to get into some of those places without making an ### of yourself was #### near impossible. Made me furious.

It's been sitting in their lot for a while, so might need some tires. -
Got her stripped down and sent off to paint todayCottonmouth85, AModelCat, Big_D409 and 1 other person Thank this.
