Yep. I bought it by just pictures.
I do this quite often, in auctions. Sometimes it works out well, and sometimes it does not. I want to know myself, what kind of luck will I have.truckon Thanks this. -
Looks clean as far as rust from what you can see in the pics anyways. I see people all the time pay 2 times that for ratty little 20' car trailers that sat out next to the house in the grass when not in use. We all know how they look after a couple of years.

My concern would be a dot inspection. I would suggest night travel and no scales.
Send the money ahead, have the title overnighted then get the tag and send it with the driver. -
My driver is going there tomorrow to pick up... I will keep everyone updated...

OK, my driver brought it here.
An update: it is a great trailer for what I want (convert to open top gondola)
-- Steel frame is in great shape, almost no rust (see pictures)
-- Tires need to be replaced, but all functional
-- Wood is very marginal, but maybe OK as underlayment for gondola floor
-- It is spring ride, but for a scrap gondola it is ok
At the total price of $1,380 (with buyer premium included), I think that it was a good deal.Attached Files:

I hauled 10 used trailers from Baton Rouge to San Antonio with no tags and only a bill of sale. Did it at night, had no problems. It's all fun and games if you don't get caught.

Cottonmouth85, you are right, I did it once and I no longer need to do it again...
Cottonmouth85 Thanks this.
