I am looking to get into the trucking industry through a company sponsored CDL program such as Swift or Prime. My main concern right now is I am 21 years old and up until this point I was a full time college student on a basketball scholarship so I had no need or time to work. I now don't have any prior work history and I've been seeing that companies look down on that any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

You weren't unemployed; you were a student, so put that on applications.
Being 21 limits you to trucking company cdl schools, but there's a few to choose from.
    Roehl Transport
    MCT Transportation
    Prime Inc.
    Knight Transportation

Knight is fastest to get started with and less hassle.
Apply to as many as you want at the same time.
