I had a radio shop here in Jersey install there RFX75 in my Cobra 29LTD Black Chrome for $110.00, and that was the price for the RFX and install.
My Cobra is putting out 2 watts dead key and swings to 118.
When I hit the roads everyone says that I'm not talking on a Cobra and thinks I'm busting there balls...

Along comes a RFX-75 .....
And 7 "S" units of swing is back in style ..... Yep I guess things go around ..... -
110 bucks for the RFX and the install? WOW did they at least give you a kiss? that is insane. the RFX can be gotten from fleabay for around 35 bucks, and the radio shop should not charge more than 40 bucks at most to install the thing.
that shop took you for a ride IMHO. -

When the amp or the radio burns up, you go buy a new radio or amp, when the RFX gimmick fails, you gotta buy both again. You can upgrade to bigger amps, but, you're stuck with the same RFX gimmick. and 100 watts is not a true reading, it's smoke and mirrors. It looks good on the meter, BUT, a blind date can be an enlightening experience too. -
for about $200 .... you can buy a "CB" amp good for 100 watts for about 100 bucks and if you burn it up you still have your CB set ..... -
$110.00 for the RFX75, install, tax and a lifetime warranty is a great price to me... -
Sadly the RFX-75 is not good enough for 10 meter use if it was i would bolt one to my DR-03. -
Get the NEW Magnum 257 HP comes with the RFX75 FACTORY installed. I've seen them online for less then $230. So if you check around you may even find it cheaper.
