As the title says I'm heading to CDL school the 23rd of May.

I'm going through the military program Troops into Transportation. I've been in the military for 10 years so this is a big transition for me.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with a military apprentice program ? Specifically with one of these companies Melton, Maverick, or TMC?

I think I am decided on flatbed. It seems the most interesting to me.

Looking forward to making it through this school and getting out there on the road.

ABF has programs at Ft Hood, Ft Riley, Ft Sill, Oklahoma. ABF is so slow right now I don't know why they are doing this. Their program is 6 weeks. Graduates are not learning how to build a doubles set and I don't know why they don't teach this.

I'm attending the class in Miami.

    I'm stationed in southeast GA.

There is a wealth of information on this site for sure.
