Semi driver mangles family car, keeps driving on I94 in Michigan. ...

I had a truck run into my trailer one time. He was pinned in front of the tandems for a second then veered back towards the shoulder. His little pickup truck was totaled and I could barley find a scratch on my trailer. I doubt that car did much damage to his trailer.

Just saw video, hard to say, if trailer ran vehicle over, you'd think there would be some evidence of tire markers, plus the trailer would have damage, I don't think the vehicle rolled as another posted, time will tell

 

I see a lot of AD Transport in that area. Silver t600's mostly I believe.

This is a good way to get a hit and run called in. Happened to me in Tennessee when a car brake checked me several times and tried to force me off the road. No way I was stopping. A few miles later I had blue lights behind me. They wrote it up as a hit and run accident even though there was absolutely no damage on my truck simply because I didn't stop. No idea if it actually shows on my MVR but I know it isn't on my PSP. Still though, wasted about 2 hours of my time and a few years off the end of my life because of all the headache.

 

Considering the quality of Chicago trucking companies and their drivers, I'm almost willing to take this guy's word at face value. It centrally wouldn't surprise me.
