Oh man this is temping.. I've never been to South Dakota before and I see a load going there from Ohio where I'll be at.
Not that I'd do it because it makes the most sense but just for the heck of it.
BUT I don't see any loads anywhere near there obviously.
Does anybody think having a NAT in the middle of nowhere like SD that Schneider would actually find a load in the area (which I doubt)????
I wanna go but I don't wanna feel like a dumbbutt having to deadhead forever to find a load after.
It pays $1.50 ish going there

oh it's right by the boarder of IA.. not as exciting
and some cheap loads 100 or so miles away.
    eh

I wonder though, when you venture out in the middle of nowhere with a load does Schneider actually use to your NAT to find freight in the area? They say they do but does it happen in actuality?
Anybody ever take a load to Montana and take one out of there for example?

I took a load before, Indianapolis to Pierre, SD. Load paid like 2.65/mile and like 1300 miles. Ended up deadheading 425 miles to Iowa to take a .90/mile (all miles) run. Overall averaged out to 1.90/mile and both runs and it was nothing but driving plus ended up in the Chicago market as well.

I wouldn't go there for much less than say 2.40/mile. Closest load you'll find to SD is North Sioux City, SD/Sioux City, IA, maybe Sioux Falls, SD or further east into Iowa if you want to dead head further.

yeah I'd do that one too lol.

That was way out in the sticks though, this one it's 60 miles from Sioux city.

I'm losing my patience running the same areas all the time. But I'd know if I ran where I enjoy for a lot cheaper that would eventually piss me off too lol.
I really wanna go on a silly random places adventure but first need to save up more money.

The thing is, I'll stretch my legs out west per say if I find the right load at the right time. Like the 1.85/mile 1700 mile run to Cochella Valley, CA. No reason to take super cheap #### as far as I'm concerned unless I really have to be home for something.
