    SPICER 8341D AUXILLARY TRANSMISSION removed from 1969 Pete 359 with 242,850 original miles. works fine. Includes the two rear mounting brackets that bolt to the cross member and the original shifter. Located Stuart FL $1100

    That's a single counter shaft transmission, it won't hold up to the high torque engines of today. There are aux transmissions with twin counter shafts that will stand up. yours would be good for restoring an old classic truck

    And someone doing a restoration?
    That was the reason I put it up here, I really didn't think someone was going to install a 47 year old tranny in a new truck. But thanks for your input.

    you'd be surprised they had a double over 6x4 for sale on FB the other day guy was asking 4500 or so. Honestly for a restoration trans you're probably not asking enough

    If could figure out a load going down there and the extra cash laying around I would.without hesitation. This month was just rough had a lot more repairs than I usually do and it cost me a lot of revenue as well.
