Two years ago I had a frame-less dump delivery at my home. The truck did make it in but he spent A LOT of time finally backing in and out before finally getting into my yard.

Most of the driveway has been widened and graded level by 2-3 feet except for the entrance. I live on a road going up hill. The driveway slopes down from the road and into my yard. So, any thoughts or suggestions on how I can make this an easier delivery for the driver? Thanks

The problem is the driver is 5 hours away. If he shows up and doesn't want to attempt it then I need to have another option.

Could he dump it on the street if he had to or could he be fined for that?

I have a backhoe at my house so I can widen the driveway more. The problem is the top of the driveway I only have so much I can do because the road is on a grade.

One guy already made it in and that was when it wasn't as wide. I can still widen along one side but I'm not sure how much it will help. Would widening along the side shown help at all?

I can maybe try finding a local driver just to look at my driveway.

Make it as wide as you want. Then there's no question. Give the drivers plenty of room if you are willing and put up reflector sticks where dangerous areas are along the driveway. You can call and ask the driver? Better than waiting for him to get there if he's a regular. I don't think the slope is a problem. It's getting off the street. So give them a wide entrance if possible.

I really opened up the bottom and I'll widen the top a bit more also. I wanted the privacy but those weeds/vines will grow back.

I'll put up some markers to make the driver's life a little easier also. Other than that I can't see why a driver couldn't get in now. Thanks for your help.
