Any drivers here on the Swift Dollar Tree rapid deployment fleet?

I'm brand new to it and was looking for advice and your experiences with it.

Is it the labor part of the job? Or not making enough money?

Both. Crap pay for too much work. Here us a bit of perspective... Swift will pay a lumper up to 500 bucks to use a fork lift to unload your truck they will pay a driver only a fraction of that to do it by hand

    Isn't it $25 for a driver unload?

I just had a 5 stop load, and one of the receivers wanted me to help out his guys with the unload.
I said that I wasn't getting paid to unload.

And I will NEVER get paid enough to unload a trailer!
If I see DUL/Y in the pplan, I refuse the load.

It's $35 per intermediate stops. $135 per load. It's not too bad I suppose. I would say it takes me about 6-8 hours to unload, and with 2 stops that's $205...that's not bad money if you ask me. I just started the account so I haven't seen one full week yet on my check. But you earn every bit of $$$

I might do it if I got $250, but never for 1/10 of that.

Did the receiver give you any lip? Why would he want you to help out when he's paying someone to do it? So he could get free help?

He'll I refuse walmart dedicated runs unless they pay me what they pay the dedicated drivers. Swift often tries to cheat you out of pay. They pay a Walmart dedicated driver 35 bucks per stop but they often beg otr drivers to do them to only pay 15 a stop. Or when freight is bad or going the wrong way for home time they will send you a run that they know 100% you will decline to weasel it of layover pay.
