On my 2006 kw t600 i installed united pacific headlight projectors with the 9007 bulbs. I guess didnt realize they drew so much voltage. The factory head lights suck

Anyways, I installed them, cut and rebuilt the headlight buckets, pluged eveything in and checked it out. Low beams work great, but when i click on the high beams, all 4 lights come on but then they all kick off then in about 5 seconds they reset and come back on and it just keeps doing this on high beam only.

The 4 is obviously drawing too much for my relay or breaker. Has anyone had this issue and is there a high voltage draw protection circuit somewhere?

Sounds like you're drawing too much amperage. Headlights I believe are supposed to be on an auto reseting circuit breaker (for safety reasons). If the issue is indeed just too much amperage draw for the headlight circuit then you may have to re-wire the high beam circuit. Not really a major job, more than likely just a matter of wiring in a seperate relay for the high beams and possibly replacing power wire down to the headlights with a heavier gauge wire.

Thats my thoughts. I was thinking it woulda been a plug and play setup, but i unless i have a weak relay or something, i guess ill have to do a little wiring.

If that circuit breaker has cycled a lot, I would replace it with one of the same rating. They get slightly weaker each time they trip.
