Take it easy in Denver

Trying to get a load of pipe to a rig outside Cheyenne from Oklahoma. Started this afternoon from Oakley, KS and headed north on US-83 and decided to shut it down at Oberlin. I-80 is closed westbound at North Platte. Going to wait until after midnight, after the storm blows through.

 

Colorado is also the bulls eye for 4-12 inches of additional snow in the Friday time frame

Looks like the Snow Chi Minh trail just opened up. The beyond capacity parking at Sapp Brothers east of Cheyenne just emptied out, all headed westbound.

Waiting for a call from the rig 5 miles away for my turn on 3 miles of snow and mud. One truck at a time, no room to pass, so they're having us stage at Sapp and call us up one at a time.
