Yea I went to an oil rig in eastern Utah, things seem to be picking up a little it's not going gangbusters but we have some work. The trailer unloaded fine 42k in 28 minutes in a silo with a sock just like I remember it doing.

bottomdumpin and DMAX66 Thank this. -
Right on! Thanks for that. I think SD is a bit too far of a commute for me from CA

Well, I got the news today that I am not getting the Western Star 5700 that I had my heart set on. I guess they ordered a 4900ex glider. But I won't have it until probably June. Kinda sucks because the 5700 would give me the ability to haul close to 55000lbs in the trailer and be legal.

blade Thanks this.

Thanks. I'm not upset by any means. I'll end up with the same setup I have now, which I love. I don't get hand-me-downs anymore, as I have the most experience and been here the longestblade and RockinChair Thank this. -
Finally Got some great news today. One of our customers is switching cement suppliers next month, to a mill much closer to their locations. It happens to be the mill I truly despise. I thought for sure we were going to get a nasty pay cut through it, as we're paid on percentage. Turns out I'm only losing roughly $4 a load, but it'll shave about two hours off my day. The mill we currently haul their cement from is two hours from anywhere we normally go. The new supplier is right in the middle of our running area. So this may not be so bad after all
