This driver making a fuss about being towed

    This driver was gone for three hours,isn't Meijer a grocery store?Its like what did he buy that took that long unless a friend came and picked him up.I didn't watch the video.

    That's true but did he stay the night?If Not I would fight the tow charge which may mean getting the court involved.

    ^^^ Nope. According to the audio of the 911 call, he told dispatch that he showed up there at 8am that morning.

    I didn't listen to the audio or watch the video but yes in that case I would fight it to the end.In the meantime though driver needs to get his rig out so the cost doesn't accumulate to leave it at the tow yard.Hard telling when Meijer looks at what exactly happened.

    very bad publicity for meijer. I used to leave a note on my driver door with my cell phone # on it. Again I think the emotional assault on this driver was excessive, I can see leaving the truck there 1-2 days yeah then tow the truck, but 3 hours? come on

    I would say not.Here the wrecker could be across the street and they'll charge the set amount as any other customers..
