Am 23 an work Family Dollar account in Chicago and St Louis for 9 monthes. I like the account but it seems to me that the company would put liftgates on the trailers to make it better and faster to unload. It becomes to much some days.

Because at the time, with 3 months experience, I was happy to be bringing home $700-800 a week, staying in good shape, and being home every weekend.

    I know....
Now if they paid something like 2000.00 or so a week it might be worth it

800 is good money....are you kidding? That is comparable to welfare...and with real welfare at least you get food stamps and a medical card.

With three months experience, and home weekends??? At the time, I lived in northern Michigan, and my "good job" prior to driving truck paid about $450/wk, gross....

Could be worse...Try being UNEMPLOYED for 6 MONTHS and that $800 will look like gold. And in this day and age not everyone qualifies for welfare.;)

In this day and age, you do what you have to do to keep a roof over your head, food on the table, bills paid, etc.-even if it's a ****storm job.
