    Hi

I see flatbed tri axle trailers in Ma delivering lumber and wonder why. we can't get overweight permits for reducible loads and was curious as to why the 3rd axle.

    thanks

NH and VT you can register for extra weight and be certified for 99k on 6 axles. Pretty sure Mass. is the same. This is totally separate from the OW permit system; and the loads can be bulk, divisible, whatever.

    thanks

I can get permit for my live floor. I cannot get one for flatbed because they tell me to take a skid or 2 off to keep it at or under 80.000. they remind me that it is a reducible load.

Um.....Isn't whatever you're hauling in your walking floor reducible as well? Or does it all pump out as one solid block?? LOL

Maybe it is on a forest products permit. In Wisconsin you could haul 80,000 in the spring, 90,000 in the summer, and 98,000 in the winter.
