So, it's been over two years since I made the switch from Schneider Bulk. Overall, it's been a good time. I finally got into a good truck and things are just rolling along. Trimac is going through some big changes but nothing that effects us drivers.
I tell you, the absolute biggest difference between Schneider and Trimac are the lengths of haul. I cannot remember the last time I had one under a 1,000 miles. Last week I had an out in back, total of 3800 miles. This week, I'm on a 2400 miler. We run a lot of West coast and the miles are big out here. Easy deliveries too, haven't touched a hose in 2 months and can't even remember the last time I touched my pump. All in all, at this moment I have no complaints. The key is getting a good truck, once you get that all the worries and stress fall away.
So, I'm still recommending Trimac if you want to run. Don't know much about the local guys or the regular branch drivers but for those who love OTR, it's hard to beat the Elite Team. No one bothers me, I have a great dispatcher, life is pretty good for this trucker.
Update on Trimac.

About to wrap up first year at Schneider and continue to follow your threads with interest. Just finished my first west coast run and enjoyed it (except SoCal traffic jams and bad roads). Saw lots of Trimac out there.

Really wish they were hiring in my area.
