I means VNL, VNM, VHD all of them can have a Volvo VED12 engine in North America market ?
Which one do you have ? Or do you have the last 8 numbers and letter of your Vin ?
Ben -
i believe its VNL last 8 of the vin 4n365717. thanks for staying interesting

Base on Volvo Main Frame your truck has been built on 10/10/2003 and it's a 2004 (look at the 10th position (4) of the 17( Full Vin)
I will do some research tomorrow and i will come back to you as soon as i can about the fan clutch.
Benchiljig Thanks this. -
Stop guys!
This clutch is PWM controlled
so it may engage smoothly and u cant feel how does it icrease fan speed, till u hear full speed of fan,
This clutch got buit in hall effect speed sensor and if fan speed is out of range and cant be ajusted by ECM it throws fault code.
If no fan related fault code - keep driving truck
