Volvo d12 06 loss of power

    Hi guys,
    I have Volvo d12 06 940000ml, last week strange thing started happening to my truck, when I go uphill and I'm shifting from 8th to 9th gear,engine starts shaking at 1300 rpm and making strange noises in 1.5 seconds periods and my rpm gauge starts fluctuating ,and as soon as I go over 1300 rpm engine runs smooth(same thing is happening when I shift from 9th to 10th),anyone have any idea what could be the problem? Thank you

    And it's lossing power...

    My first thought is injector cups. I had the exact same thing happen and then it started getting worse. My truck was also taking a little longer to turn over when starting it.

    No. mine had hard starting as well as sputtering and low power. climbing a hill it would sputter at higher rpm and I had trouble climbing hills, at first it would sputter till 1300 rpm then seem ok till 1450 rpm and then sputter any higher.
