I recently swapped out my halogen fog light bulbs for 50W LED bulbs. The lights turn on and work fine but the truck draws the Check light and displays a fog light low current fault in the diagnostic menu. Any way to fix this?

Reprogram the lcm is the right way unfortunately. Adding resistor will also work. Found this on another site to better explain why.

when replacing or adding LED lights the LCM sees them as an open or non existent light.

Because LED's draw less current the lcm trips a code.

Thanks Socal Xpress. I was thinking about installing a resistor but I'm reading online that it's more of a solution for turn signals rather than constant 12v lighting due to the risk of over heating. Most likely gonna have to go with the LCM reprogramming. I got lucky with my low beam hid's. They worked perfectly without reprogramming the LCM.
