Mileage, home time, maintenance program, warranty, what if you can't make the payment that week, type of lease.

The thing is that when you talk with these L/O they tell you figures before any of theire expenses. But when it's all said and done and taxes paid they barely make any more than a good company driver.

"Good company driver" being key. One must have a decent work ethic first.
An LP program is NOT a get rich quick scheme.

I've been at mercer for almost 5 years and never pulled a load that cheap. If they can't afford to bounce to a better load is only their own fault. Obviously they are either shirring at home till they have no money, or making very bad decisions on load selection. And i live south of tampa so I'm very much aware of cheap florida freight.

If you are doing 1500 consistently as a company driver i advise that you stay put, and save money. Fix any past credit mistakes and prepare for truck ownership the right way.
