I started with Central States as an OO in Minnesota, average take home was just above $2500.
Their terminal is on site at CP, terminal manager is a good dude too.. -
Anthony you still at Central state do you haul local what you run 5 or 6 day your $2500 take home that after you take off fuel or before.
-
I made $1,800 after fuel, plates and insurance in a typical week at Pacer in Chicago.

This year is slow, but what you make can depend on the company, how your paid, how busy it is, etc.. I know O/O's with their own authority using a company as the broker that are doing $3,500 to $4,000 per 5 days to the truck, and I know guys that are lease operators doing $1,200 to the truck in 5 days. As a rule, you'll make more if they pay you on percentage, but it depends on the honesty of the company. I'm an intermodal company driver, but I've long talks with our O/O's, I've seen some of their settlement checks.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Honesty of company can be the difference between $1600 a week or $3200 per week....Striker is right on ......
JJKid, TruckerNerd and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
I don't want to make a mistake going with the wrong company central state terminal not far from my house and I see the have a lot add for o.o really thinking about going with then.
