J.S. Helwig & Son
They are in Texas, but run in your state. But they are not flatbed. Many are reefers.
The owner, James Helwig is really great to work with, miles are good, pay is good, pet and rider allowed. They do pay 45 cpm. Part of that includes per diem, which isn't taxed.
You are treated like a human not a number. can count on same people being there in office because people stay.
1500 referral fee for drivers u refer that they hire. paid 250 on their 1st dispatch, 250 month after until 1500.00 paid.
Drop and hooks mixed in with pick ups and delivery. Much easier on the body...especially as you get older.
They dont hire new drivers. i put that in so new drivers don't waste their time contacting. -
Abeline as well

rabbiporkchop and 4mer trucker Thank this. -
Friday will be my 5th anniversary with Britton Transport. We have both a flatbed division and a van/reefer division. I get home when I want, run when I want, everyone is really easy to work with, decent equipment, and ill make 65k this year. And a lot of our fleet makes more than that. I like home a tad too much. All in all, Britton is a great place to work for OTR.
