What's a good training and trucking company to start with?

If you want to do vans one of the best companies is Abeline also check with JB Hunt doing line haul. If you are willing to do tankers try Trimac and you will be looking st around 80k. Britton is another good company.

Now don't do megas and look hard locally first and you may find exactly what you are looking for.

Oops do you have a CDL? If not the best company to go to school for is Millis Transfer and and once on the road you should get home every weekend.

 

Or Prime for your CDL and Rhoel 3rd for CDL schools.

 

You don't have to go OTR unless there's just no local work around your area. Old Dominion Freight Line hires new cdl grads for local and line haul. The big money is with line haul. They recruit heavily all over PA. Many drivers, such as me, don't want local and prefer OTR.

Many companies will reimburse you cdl school tuition if you attend a private or community college cdl school. Some reimburse up to $7000.00
