Tons of spots. And free for the first 48 hrs! I'm relieved that a downtown place isn't trying to gouge drivers(for once)

Wild Wild West is one I knew was there but steered clear of. Thought I'd stop and check it out with a trainee, rented a room, the fee was $20.00 a night stayed two nights for a reset while the trainee had his fun on the strip and whereever.
the room was worth about $20...
stopped in one more time by myself, same room $200.00 a night while others were getting more... taint worth it to me besides that I don't gamble -
I didn't mind watching them back when they were a couple of cute kids. But I don't have any interest in seeing them now... never did think their singing was all that great to begin with.dca and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this. -

Well, according to the ads on The Strip, Britney Spears is the top show in town right now.
There was no one I would pay to see last night. If luck has it and I can have similar time in my hands when George Strait or Black Sabbath come thru I would definitley pay to see that!
Anyhow, the strip was a sight....I'm glad that I could keep costs down by parking for free and sleeping in the truck.
For anyone planning to stay here at the wild Wild West, the bathrooms are across the street in the hotel--no showers without a room rented.
There is a CAT scale and fuel islands however.tucker Thanks this. -

Be darned! Some of you talking about getting fuel there, makes me wonder how long they have had it! I haven't been by there in some time, and I've never been in there in a truck. I have had the misfortune (once) to try to eat in the Dennys there. I was in my POV and headed to Amateur Radio Supply (sadly, closed now,) over on Polaris. At that time, I don't think it was a fuel point. All I remember is a dirt lot with a bunch of trucks in it, across Polaris from the Casino.
Nor do I remember seeing anything about it being a truck stop. So is this new, or am I just blind and/or forgetful?
