Worst Stops!?

That is the truck stop I grew up around. Always been a nasty place, even in the 80s/90s. Best to avoid any ts within a 100 mile circle of Columbus.

Heh. The real crappy truck stops, like cancer, are hard to kill.

 

Jeez dontsay stuff like that. There are a few notches on my tire thumper....

 

Unless in dire straits i avoid every loves, pilot, and all flying js except for the one north of richmond virginia. I'll hit that one on occasion if I've been out a while, just for the golden corral. While a crap restaurant, it's still miles above most truck stop diners.

 

You weren't tired, hungry, and ( or ) dirty enough to appreciate the J. Always the best corndogs anywhere.

Aside from a shower, or if that's all there is to post up at for a 34, its the only worth while thing at the J.
I've heard a lot of people say the J in Belgrade, MT was a hole, I think its wonderful, and I really click with staff there when ever I've been there, Same with a T/A on 90, think its in Washington, its laid out like that J, but its a freakin oasis in my book.

 

Loves is the worst.

If you're lucky enough to find a place to park then there is 27 drivers standing around the fuel desk with paper numbers in their hands waiting for a key to take a shower.

Fueling in less then 15 mins at a love's would get me to buy a lottery ticket.

I can count the number of times I've stayed at a loves this year with one hand.

I don't have a loves reward card because I pay for my fuel and would never pay to fuel at a loves.

 

Loves in Galloway was robbed once in daytime while doing normal operations with truckers here in Arkansas.

We visit the Petro instead now and then. Come to think of it it's time for another visit soon.
