depends on exactly where your going, 30 can be used, other back roads can be used, 70 can be used if your destination is far enough south. If less then a year you can take 80 as long as you tell your FM. They are in the process fo changing the rt 80 rule though. Also if you have a next day delivery with more then 600 miles disbatched they let you take it.

I am an experienced driver thinking of coming to work for TMC. How much and what type of training can I expect? I have minimal flatbed experience at best. I drove moffett truck that's about it.

What about Columbia? Do they have a training facility there?

I'm a Rock hauler, end dumps, belly dumps, round bottoms, 3 years now, work on percentage basis, make about 42,000 year,, would coming over to TMC be worth it? I'm home every night but work long hours drive through a lot of traffic all day long. very stressful job.. but interested in long haul and home weekends.. what could I expect to make on an average clear per week. not gross. thanks guys Drive safe

That being said, average tmc driver has 3250 to the truck and makes 28% of that. Thats 910/week. Add on a few tarp fees and your looking at over 1000/week, especially if your above average. A good driver can make 60k a year.
Your profile says 01 year, yet you say 3 years. Either way, TMC will require you to do load securment training. -
I am glad TMC has been so good to you. I came here as an experienced driver, I don't go home but once every 3 to 4 weeks, they can't get me home when requested, missed a VA appointment because of this. Also the pay is a joke as it is based on the revenue of your truck, and a few other things, and I have all endorsements and the TQM class which should help move my pay up , but when my average load pays 550 or less you cant move up in pay, and another one of the big things is the out of route (excess miles) what a joke, as most of the time to get any where close to the miles they want you to run in you would have to go on truck restricted routes, I don't ideal my truck, in a Pete 379 I am getting 6.2 which is almost at the top for fuel, when I talk to my FM I am told that is all they have, I spend most nights at the customer and off loaded with my empty sent in before my FM is even at work, so not sure what to do so if you have any advise I would gladly try it. Because if I can't get better runs I will have to move on as my paychecks are to small.
