A few questions though for the experienced guys with TMC:
I want to do OTR and I want to stay out as long as possible. I don't have kids, wife, GF, or major bills. Just cell phone and car ins. I live with parents but want to eventually get my stuff out of there . The recruiter told me that you can do that basically because you can work off of "recap?" hours? He said this is explained during training. Is this true/legal? lol. Also, I really want to do OTR for at least 2 years so I get the experience. I'd like to move out of my parents house but I don't want to get an apartment that I will never see. How do the guys at TMC live out of their trucks? I was explained you can do this by basically staying at a truck stop, rest area, or whatever but you would have to make sure you fuel "in network". I'm not sure how the whole breakdown goes as far as using the TMC truck as your personal vehicle lol.
Sorry but any advice or response is much appreciated. I thought about making a separate post but I figured since Justin is new this may help him if he had any of these questions.
Thanks!
