I'm very interested in TMC, could someone give insight that already drives or know about the company as far as:
1. Is home time really most weekends ( I live in NC) is there good freight in and out of NC
2. The pay system (percentage or mileage)
3. Is TMC on idle and other policies

yes hometime is if not every weekend then every other weekend, however with you in NC i would bet on every weekend. percentage is best and TMC dosnt have an idle policy however it effects your MPG and your MPG factors into what percentage you get for the month but there are other factors as well.

Ok cool, appreciate the info, very helpful. So for training, I've heard TMC bringing in a whole lot of students but only a few getting through it. Should I be concerned about this?
What kinds of things get you sent home?
And do TMC let you route yourself on loads or they give you a route?
what would be a good average take home pay starting out -
were in nc

Near Burlington

why not epps?

The trucking school I went to is not on their approved list, and I'm interested in flatbed, like to do some work. Instead of just driving all day

iam in nc should I go tmc or western express -
I may be bias but I would not go to western express!

TMC may not be the best place to work, but they are leaps and bounds beyond Western Express.
