I was looking at what TA has to offer and found nothing about benefits. Can someone tell me what the healthcare plan is and how much does it cost per month for a family? What does it cover?
Also do they offer any 401k matching or any profit sharing?
Thanks!

I am starting with ta the 26th of November. Can anyone tell me how they are to work for and the full low down please? Thanks

Benefits are BC/BC. For me and my wife its 80 a week but I have dental too. Cost depends on dependents and tobacco use and how many extras you sign up for. Believe 401k is available after 6 months.

I have been driving with transport America for a month now and so far its been the best company i have ever driven for.I have a great fleet manager and get home often.Great trucks and trailers are well maintained. No worries as of yet and I actually look forward to going to work. What?Am I Ill?lol . Don't Know much about the health care coverage,it's blue cross/blue shield. I get that thru my wife.If your looking for more info about TA I will have a lap top with me this time out and will give you all the info I can about the company. So far so good. It's all rainbows and unicorns! lol

Does anyone know about there rider program is there a waiting period or can someone ride once you get your truck.

Once you get your truck.Get a rider pass from your home terminal and have your rider fill it out. They are good for 6 months.15 dollars a month is deducted from your check. You can renew as often as you like.Stay off the mid-west regional run. The times they give you to run a load are so tight you will never have time to do the load and it gets worse each load you do.The time frames are totally impossible and certain driver managers will run you to the point that you will either wanna quit or be moved to a different region. Do solo OTR or a dedicated run. It's not a bad company at all, but certain people that work within the company will kill you and your home-time if ya don't speak up and say something. You wanna do good and show them you can run,but I promise, that will soon become a nightmare that will haunt yo #####! It's like ya almost have to screw up a couple loads and be really late for them to notice your a human being and not some robot.By then ,it's almost to late! So please take my advise and only do solo OTR or dedicated if ya wanna survive.
