If you wish to preview before posting, click the 'Go Advanced' option. That it will open up a new window that allows you to do the same thing, except you can preview before submitting.Fuffster and John's Girl Thank this. -
How do I remove a post once it's posted.
-
You can't.If you don't like what you posted, you can edit it.
d o g Thanks this. -
Correction, it can be removed if it has had no replies.
Message a moderator and ask them to delete the post. Usually by clicking on the black triangle in the lower left of the post.d o g Thanks this. -
I think what Patty is saying is that he can't delete it himself. He can only edit if he wants to do it himself, and he can only do that in the first 24 hours.
Otherwise, as ltd suggests, report the post and we'll look at it to see if it can be deleted. If it hasn't had any replies, there's a good chance we can help you with it.lovesthedrive and pattyj Thank this. -
To add what dog said another cool feature is the Multi-quote button. It's that little "+ button just to the right of "Reply With Quote"
Click it on all post you want to reply to with that "+. That checks each posts. Then the last post you want to reply to click "Reply With Quote". Wallah! They all show up in your box ready to reply to each one. You can even edit the quotes if you like to focus on a particular sentence.
Another option is to copy/paste something someone said. In your post toolbar click on that little cartoon cloud looking thing. You'll see the BBC for quote show up and then paste what you copied in between them. When you do that the quote doesn't recognize the author. You can modify the BBC if you like. The first Quote you see manually add =poster's name. So it would look like [ Quote=Fuffster ] content stuff [ /Quote ]. I had to use a space inside the bracket [] to disable it for illustration purposes.
But BBC is simple forum code. You have the code in one set of brackets to start. Then you have a / in the ending bracket to stop.
Using a space again so you can see it...
[ quote ]content[ /quote ], quotes in a rectangle
[ quote=Joedriver ]content[ /quote ] Adds quote by Joedriver to rectangle
[ b ]content[ /b ], puts the content in bold print
[ u ]content[ /u], underlines it
[ i ]content[ /i ], makes the words slant in italic form. A fancy way to focus on some words.
[ size=3 ]content[ /size ] Changes the font size. Normal forum font is size 3. You can change the number value from 1 to I'm not sure how far.
Those are the basic BBC. There are many more. Some the forum supports, some we block to prevent someone from causing forum script problems.
Here's a list of some BBC if you want to play.

Thanks. I guess what I was trying to do. Was to remove the post which is on Seek Employment Looking to work for an o/o. Post #1. I reposted it later and it's #5 with a little more detail. Didn't want people to get confused.
25(2)+2 Thanks this.
