I never thought I would be happy to be in a Pilot truck stop untill I stopped at that old truck stop in Laredo. The Pilot looked pretty good after that.

TA in Montgomery, Alabama. These have to be the rudest employees I have ever seen. I am done using TA's and PETRO's because of this. I refuse to give my money to a company that employees that kind of garbage.

I think the truck stop off 99 that was mentioned at arco, if thats the one where i stopped to weigh my truck, the scale was next to the building with the awning covering from the building out on the fuel island, it has no lights at night in a bad part of town, and a real dump from the word go. If you park there you better have a real big lock on your trailer doors or park it up against a building or risk your load being gone in the morning, its ownd by iranians or iraqis or someone like that, i would never go there again.

Worst truck stop I've been to?
Hands down, the TA in Spartanburg, SC. They served lettuce in the restaurant that was spoiled. The restaurant was nasty, the showers were moldy, concrete blocks, the place was unmaintained and dirty. And when I was there I heard that a guy got mugged right at the building entrance and got his laptop stolen. Haven't been back to that one since, but I'm sure there's worse.BostonTanker and BoyWonder Thank this. -
Can't remember what state or where - it was long ago. It was a Pilot station - there was trash laying all over the place. Grease and gunk on fueling aisles. The interior of the building was disgusting. A creature of habit, I got a shower pass anyway. It was the grossest thing I have ever encountered - I didn't take a shower. Green mold and pubic hairs and all kinds of nasty s*** - I took one look at that shower room and resolved that I would never stop at that place again. Wherever it was, there was nothing but green, rolling hills, hardly any trees around, that went on for a while. Just can't put a state name to it, wish I could remember.
