There's a bar that looks like a two-story house in Fairmont, WV at that little truckstop. I think it was exit 139 - K & T. It was mainly college-aged girls and guys there.

There is also the big tiki bar right at the Seminole Truck Stop on US27 on the way to Miami in Weston, FL.

Somewhere down in TN either on I-81 or I-40 there's a Pilot with a Ruby Tuesday's behind/on top of it. I always forget where it is so I either stop at Wytheville VA or shoot for Knoxville TN.

    Gotta love Wheeling WV. :D

Also the T/A at Youngstown OH. Has the Strip club/bar behind it. The food isn't very good, but neither is the food at the T/A and frankly who would you rather have serve you? Also the drinks are reasonably priced. You also have some nice options for food in the area, Quakersteak, Bob Evans are both right in the area.

Question, I was taking a 10 in Hurricane, WV. and while hiking off for breakfast I found a place wedged in between the back of the T/A lot and the businesses on the the main road. Sign said "Nina's", it had no windows, and it was 11 am so it was closed. Is this just a bar or is it a strip club?

Wouldn't call it a good bar, but N Little Rock/Galloway, AR across the lot from the Petro. Interesting people in there. Bad country music, and not very attractive women. But the beer is cold!

It's called Jimmy Doyle's and doesn't really get going until late when the other one's start closing. Been a long time since I've been there but he used to have his own house band and a guest band alternating non stop until something like 4:00 am.
I never lasted until closing time at this one though.
Another one is the Flying J in Fargo, ND with live music and the Petro 2 in Clearwater, MN has a nice pub/sports bar with an outside patio. Used to be one near the Stockyards in South St Paul, MN called the "Buckboard" with live music and parking for trucks but it was sold and turned into a Mexican Restaurant before it burned to the ground. Lots of good times in there!

Yes. Jimmy Doyle's. Being the only "Yankee" ( as I was so "affectionately" called) it just didn't leave me with a good impression.

Lebanon, TN .. Uncle Pete's truckstop @ I-40 and Sparta Pike .. about 2 or 3 blocks south of the truck stop (walkable), same side of the road, is a little bar & grill but I forget the name. Pool tables with some decent 8-ball players on weekends, juke box, lot's of regulars and I think they have a live band some weekends.
