I get your point completely, but to offer a counterpoint...

I am wifeless, with a busy life and kid I'm raising, and I have the resources to eat out every meal without it affecting me financially. I'm overweight largely because I did eat out for a long time.

Now I cook all my own food, eating out only once a month or so. I've gotten to the point that I would rather cook my own food. I don't want others touching it, or sneezing into it etc. I will decide if something is still fresh, as well as the quality of the ingredients I cook with. I'm still overweight, but I am healthier and have not gotten sick in a very long time. There are a lot of ways bacteria and germs can get into your food in a commercial kitchen.

It took some effort to get in the habit and it may not be for everyone, but I sure feel better. FWIW

Please don't take it out on the cashier, they don't control the prices. Heck, they can't even change the channel on the TV's. Mr. Haslem needs all that money. How else will he pay all the carriers the money he defrauded them or pay all those expensive lawyers to fight the class action lawsuit or pending criminal charges?

Show some pity for the poor man... :D :D :D

I saw it's karma, the big companies get the fuel discounts, yet cry they want a level playing field, they should have to pay the price at the pump just like us small O/O do. Personally, I wish all the mega fleets would go broke, it would be better for our industry.

yes i have to agree!. Death to the mega fleets!!!!!!!. Low life pond scum. I get much better deal on fuel at loves and get 4 cents for all gallons purchased. Much nicer staff as well. Your right karma is a b$#@#. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Can't pay his employees a living wage. But has the money to buy a nfl team. Yes it's capitalism and it's a good thing. But don't screw people in the process!!!!!!!.

why don't you guys just buy a package of hot dogs and buns for under 4.00 and eat 8 of them when you want to but you must have a microwave and inverter I never eat at any truck stops I bring all my own food and cook in my truck my wife makes me meals and then freezes them. they will keep all week in my cooler. I save up to 20 dollars a day doing this. and the foods much better and I know what I am getting. not like years ago{20} plus I ate at a t,a, and got sick as a dog . to this day I will not eat at any t,a, ever again I guess I am to cheap also and I like home cooked food they taste so much better..

Your logic is spot on, so I cant argue with that....But its just to much work to get in an out of a walmart lol. I can afford them at the TS, but figured id add to this thread since the hotdogs increased. If I have time and a WM is on my route, I'll stop, but most of the time i keep the hammer down.

It's not caveman days, you can quit dragging her around by her hair. Just saying. Something to think about. And eating that garbage at a truckstop is settling for less. Eating garbage from truckstops is why the waistline of truck drivers is expanding and killing them. Those hot dogs, any hot dogs are nasty crap. They should raise the price. You'll think twice about eating such filth.
