Where are some good places to park for a 30 minute break in Chicago's west loop? For instance, if I want to go to Graziano's at 901 W Randolph street is there a place where I can park the truck to run in and get a sandwich?

Chicago isn't really truck friendly. Three blocks north of there is a gravel lot trucks hang out to deliver to the market. You might catch a roach coach in the market area around breakfast and lunch.
Other than that it's either an Oasis, back up to the WI line, Monee, Gary and Minooka for the truck stops.
I'm sure you could get food delivered if you wanted some Chicago cuisine.
Isn't Grazianno's on a one way south? If it is go one block west and three blocks north will run you into that lot. Once you get to the lot it's one block east and 1/2 block north to the entrance.. That turn eastbound in front of the lot is tight and narrow but take it wide and it's no problem.
That's about the best I can do is give you a place to park. There are cafe's in the area if you want to walk from that lot. I usually didn't hang around.DsquareD Thanks this. -
you can try Fulton St. (2nd str. north of Randolph). on weekends not much going on there, you should be ok for 30min.

I know Chicago isn't truck friendly, but they have some fantastic places to eat.
As far as the oasis stops go, they are mostly limited to the fast good chains. Also, with the new 30 minute rule I'm noticing that it is getting more difficult to get a spot. I used to pull in to the Lake Forest oasis, run in, use the facilities, get a Polish sausage and hit the road in about 15 minutes or less. Now I frequently pass it by without a second thought because it is usually full. -
Downtown, north of Fulton Market is a lot where a company parks their trucks and and trucks delivering are allowed to park there, but they shut the gates from afternoon until about 10 PM when they come in to fuel the trucks. E-logs won't let you move at all during the 30 minutes? There are places here and there, but that area is high traffic. You can't block someone that wants to leave, you can't park just anywhere, and since they are turning the old Fulton Cold Storage building into an office complex, the parking that was there around that building is barricaded off.
The roach coaches are good for that area. There are places out a little ways, but not in walking distance, I park at a place off Pulaski south of 55, and there are other places to rest in that area where you don't get pestered during a long break.
There are other places where you will be pestered pretty much anytime of the day, unless a cruiser is parked nearby.
On edit, north along US 41 is the Full Moon Cafe, open 24 hours with truck parking, easy access northbound, possible southbound with a little backtracking. Greek influence on the food, and it was pretty good.DsquareD Thanks this. -

Just double park and tell the cops your making a delivery...

Not sure how far west your talking but off route 80, exit 130 is South Larkin Ave. Right there (going north) is an old empty Wal-mart parking lot where trucks park. In a quick walking distance is a Steak and Shake, Wendys and Taco Bell. Sams Club is right beside it. If you turn left on route 52 a new Wal-mart is there and close to that is a Golden Corral.

Oh yeah, this is in Joliet ILL and is located between route 55 and 355
