Yeah really Dude, don't know about the shower doors, I don't follow guys into to shower, and don't tell me if you know, I don't care. As I said that is my experience with Pilot automated checkout, don't seem to have the problems at Walmart or Home Depot, but they pay someone to help the technically challenged, just Pilot squeezing every last penny out of anyone they can.

Really you guys?.... you actually wait in line?? If there's ever more then 2-3 people in a line I go ahead and speak up asking that more registerers get opened, never fails. Drivers need to learn to speak up instead of letting themselves get walked all over.

service? you mean like when used to somebody would run an elevator for you or when you used to ask the local telephone operate to connect you with your "aunt Bettie"??? that's what you want to keep intact? Progress, it will continue, with or without you. See ya .... maybe, but I doubt it if you want to continue to live in a cave.

While I understand the conundrum of technology vs labor and jobs ... Somebody has to design, build, install, and maintain this self-serve register (in the tens of thousands ultimately). Technology will advance irregardless of any desire to "remain behind" in the desire to protect jobs. But skilled labor is required to design and build high-tech, so figure it out already. So long as we don't let the Chinese or Indians design and build this technology, WTF are you complaining about? Embrace it, welcome it, encourage it ... or live in the "stone age", the choice is yours.

As society becomes more automated, corporations are realizing "staggering" profits. Yet they are failing to realize that their robots will never purchase any of the commodities their producing. May the Middle Class rest in peace...

Sitting here at this Pilot in Cheyenne. I think they should have call in service like Sonic. Tell them to bring me a mega meat slice, and 6 wings and they come prancing out to the truck. Now that is service. Them scanning and taking your money isn't service Gee willikers guys :)

I am not a cashier, but I am willing to bet nobody will cry foul for truck drivers when the day comes that they figure out how to have trucks drive themselves. I guess it wouldn't really matter anyway, the older drivers that actually used to enjoy this industry are growing to hate it more and more every day from all the new regulatory BS, and the new drivers are in it just for an excuse so they aren't considered some jobless loser.
