I don't think so. The ones with the totally faded paint are typically red and of the brand you will rarely see in a Blue Beacon. The faded paint is probably a result of highly corrosive in-house wash solutions. Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of Blue Beacon but I don't think they could remain in business all these decades and still growing if they were stripping paint every wash.
Blue beacon is a little cost savings, but you need to get your truck hand washed (scrubbed) every 3rd or 4th wash IMO somewhere that does that such as Truckomat. Either place you go, you're going to end up with water spots here and there after you leave once the water begins running out of and being blown out of all the nooks and crannies.
Truckomat vs blue beacon

We pick up brand new trailers at manufacturers all over the country. Before we deliver trailers to the customer some of the manufacturers specify that we have to have the trailers washed to remove the chemicals used in the winter on the roads. Those manufacturers, notably Heil Tank, have very specific instructions on how the new trailer is to be washed( mild soap, reduced pressures and wand distance from the vehicle, absolutely no acid/alkali based detergents etc). Although they do not specifically prohibit Blue Beacon, when I go there and show the manager the instructions and ask him to sign the form taking responsibility for the damage that may be caused by their procedures, they usually decline the business.

Truck o mat's are better than streakin beacon!. I run west and use little sisters in az,ca. Also truck tub in az,and ca. Will use streakin beacon in a pinch just tell them no brightner on the paint. That crap strips the wax off of the paint and with black pearl paint it gets hand waxed every other month. Now 6 years old and still looks new. If you get to denver there is the echo truck wash off brighton blvd they wash the western distributing trk's. Also a decent trk wash in york ,ne off exit 353 across from f-liner dealer. But do your truck a favor and stay away from bb!!.

Blue Beacon pretty much sucks. We have an account there and it's always a half assed job. Never been to the other one. DJ s Truck Wash in Joshua TX is the best I've been to that wasn't complete detail. About 8 guys go over your truck with pressure and lots of brushes about 4 times with a rinse between each. $75 for 379 EX and sand tanker.

just a f,y,I, don't use eagle truck wash in Russell il off I 94 at wis, il border at the t/a had them wash my truck 2 different times and they suck,, the last time about a week ago had them wash my truck and they missed so much stuff so had them rewash the whole truck again and still missed some things like . when you towel dry like I always do the towel was black from them leaving dirt on my truck, also after 2 times washing everything they say it looks great but you pull outside and look at it and say wow this sucks, and $75.00 down the drain and that's just for the tractor with a tip of course, had to get going after 2 washes but the way they wash it would of taken 5 washes to get it right , never again will I stop there

All of the truck washes it seems they keep them VERY DARK inside. WTF? If any place need some fantastic HID lighting at several different levels on all sides, it's a truck wash facility. Or are the dark by design? But most Eagle and Truckomat truck washes are far darker then any Blue Beacon.

Amen to that. BB uses acid on the whole truck. They are lazy and the acid speeds up the job, never mind what it does to your truck. They dont care its not their truck.

Your truck paint is just like your windshield, over time it gets sand blasted and rock chips. Blue beacon does not damage your windshield and they do very little damage to your paint. It's a great value for $65-$100. 30 years and the only damage that they have done to me was one ifta sticker. I have always ran very nice 379 petes.
I use BlueBeacon, chemicals and acid are fine. Once a year polish and wax the truck. Polish the aluminum and when your windshield gets so pitted you can't see, replace it.
To many drivers want to spend $50 on a truck wash but have it washed by 4 guys making $25 bucks an hour and take 2 hours doing it and not miss one spot.
This is just an opinion of 30 years. -
