So I need to get a wash and I am right in between both if these places. I have been to the BB many times, but never a truckomat. What do you guys prefer and why. I generally get the wash + citrus shine + tire dressing. I'm in a 389 so I want my wheels, tanks and other bits to get shined up a bit.

They both suck horribly, flip a coin and go.

Blue Beacon spray washes it only and Truck O Mat uses brushes.

BB uses acid on your paint. They will do in a pinch, but if you use them alot your paint will suffer badly.

I like going to the truckomat in Joplin, mo. The truckomat in north little rock was okay until the last time they left my wheels dirty.

The pressure that blue-beacon uses is strong enough to take the paint off your truck. As you can see I'm outside the blue-beacon on the 3rd image and the manager stated that all the above are rock chips that flaked when it was washed. This is a new Blue Beacon in Temple, GA. The manager stated I'm not going to repair this and neither will my bosses at the main office. None of this was there until I had it washed at the Blue-Beacon. Even the employees noticed it and told the guy spraying my truck to step back a little bit because he was blowing the paint off of it. I have had it washed before at Newborns in Tallapoosa, GA and never had an issue like this. I will never take my truck to a Blue-Beacon again.

i never noticed how good they washed the truck
but the girls doing the interior in short shorts

Don't make the mistake of going to BB like 4-5am, they're usually dead tired just waiting for the next shift to come in. They'll take forever or won't do a good job.

It is easy to tell which fleets have a corporate account at Blue Beacon. They are the ones that trade their trucks in after less than 3 years with totally faded paint.
