Terry is right except that it also includes a shrimp ####tail. Some pro wrestler ate 2 one night. A friend of mine got close but lost it about 10 bites from finishing.

Many years ago (55-59) Thrashers Truck Stop in Selmer, TN had a sign on the wall and on the menu: Truckers Breakfast - One doz eggs, 1 pound bacon or sausage, one loaf of bread toasted and ?? coffee. Eat it all and it will be free. Stopped there regualrly but never tried the deal.
A buddy and I did take on an all you can eat catfish for $3.50 during that time. Bonnie's Truck Stop at Sandersville, MS, right out of Laurel,MS. We both were enroute to New Orleans for bananas and stopped there for supper. Ordered the fish, eat it up, waitress asked if you guys want more. My buddy had hollow legs and a good appetite. He said: Yeah, some more and nice size please. That started it. We ate, she brought more, we ate.
Finally left and on to New Orleans. Came back through the next day, stopped for lunch, and there was a clean place on the wall where the sign had been. -
Not next time I go through there!!! -

I was just giving directions, from Google Maps, for a truck stop on I70 W around Casey IL and told him to take Exit 159, 160, or 162 Effingham. Well, he said he was at mp 147 Marshall, then 129 for Casey and so the numbers were going down. Finally (after a challenge of who/what was at fault)we figured out that I57 S connects up with 170 and the mp numbers change.
I am sure a lot of you drivers out there know of this and that there are probably better programs out there that just might mention why you'd be looking for a truck stop at a higher number when you are supposed to be getting lower numbers.
FYI As far I have seen(on Google maps), there aren't anymore truck stops til Troy on I70 W. Oh, & Troy is about 80 miles down the road!Baack Thanks this. -
RBPC Thanks this.

Pilot/Marlins in Mitchell SD has a giant hamburger with fixins, fries and salad. If you eat it all its free otherwise its like $24. I'm a big boy but 3lbs of burger is a lot. Its as big as a dinner plate plus 1 lbs of fries. Can feel blood slowing down with all the grease just thinking about it!

My Tom Tom is fine for the drive, but it is nice to use the Live view option where you get a Sat image of the shipper or receiver. It is nice when talking with them on the phone to be looking down on the actual building. Have had many receivers ask if I had been there before when I would describe the drive's layout. Kinda fun to be one up on them! -
It was not all that long ago, but something I do not see anymore.
The ole Blue & White Truckstops in IN had a very popular fish fry.
You got 2 whole fish plus fixins'
I think the eyes were still in them, they were complete from head to tail (minus the innards).
