truck stops that charge for parking

they charge cuz drivers go in park without spending any money,they are in business to make money,not that hard to figure out.oh i remember when no ts charged,or none that i knew of

 

Because I drive in an area without pay parking, I wonder, are the pay lots any cleaner and smell less of urine tuan the non-pay lots?

 

... Not really. But they are not [as] full of trucks who use them as long-term parking while they're at home for the weekend.

 

They make an app for what the pocket truck stop guide?For me its easier just purchasing the guide.By the time I get the app to working I would have already found what im looking for,lol.

 

Those that pay for reserved parking are fools... Your simply shooting yourself in the foot... before you know it you will have to pay to park at every truck stop.... and then YOU guys who have been paying for reserved parking will be the first to come on here crying about it...

And the guy saying he writes it off on his taxes, how much are you actually saving at the end of the year doing that? LOL give me a break

 

SMH. It's not a matter of "saving money" at the end of the year. The point is, it's not 100% money wasted and parking, hotel, whatever, it's all good to help reduce your tax liability at the end of the year to offset some of the expense. You obviously work bankers hours and/or have never had to make an 00:01 Appt in Harrisburg, PA where there is no parking and needed a place to complete a break once empty at 02:00. Good grief.

 

Those that pay for truck washes are fools too I suppose. What ever happened to washing your own truck? Truck washes should be free..........................

 

There are a lot of entitled steering wheel holders out here that think that truck stops and Walmart and everything and everyone should cater to them, no matter how scummy and nasty they are, attitude and all. I'm for paid parking because those that I mentioned will go elsewhere. And I'm ok with that.
