I noticed it was finally finished a few weeks ago. But didn't stop.

 

I'm here now. Pretty sweet. I love free wifi.

 

Have to disagree on "needed an update" - what's wrong with just fixing the place up? I love the designs from the '50s all the way up to the early '90s. Modern (~1995-present) designs just don't do anything for me, and it always pisses me off to see a place remodeled rather than just restored.

 

Sometimes things change so much that the joint just has to be leveled and try again. Thats what they did on the Ohio Tpk plazas and got it right. Much larger truck parking areas and much better trucker shower facilities, only one in the country that I know of. PA Tpk is doing as well, much larger parking for trucks, better selection of vendors.
Connecticut is leveling the joints and doing it all wrong, more parking for cars and much less for trucks with blind side backing.

 

That's New England for ya. Lots of snobbery toward blue collar workers of any kind, and CT is probably the worst for that.
