PFJ Restaurant Rewards

    Did PFJ stop doing their Restaurant Rewards program? The last three times I've been to a Pilot restaurant (twice in Subway, once at Taco Bell), I haven't earned any rewards. I asked an employee about it and she said she thinks it means that the cashier was on the wrong screen when they scanned my rewards card. I find it hard to believe that 3 restaurants in a row would all have been on the wrong screen. Has anyone else heard about this or had this problem?

    On a related note, I found out last night that Pilot won't let Subway do the $6 any footlong promotion that other Subway restaurants are doing. The lady said that Pilot makes the rules for their Subway locations.

    As far as I know they are still doing them. I've seen nothing about them being discontinued at least. I know some locations won't do the rewards, but that's about it.

    I think that's why every subway I've been to in a pilot or flying j never accepts subway gift cards. I'm assuming it would either conflict with the system pilot has in place or it would cost them more. Either way its dumb in my opinion

    I've had the opposite experience. I almost exclusively pay with gift cards at Subway and I've never had a problem at any truck stop location.

    Subway is a rip off anyway.....The usual 5 dollar foot long is 7.50 at the truck stop...
    I usually spend maybe 25 bucks a week eating anyway..
    I use rewards points when I can and bring stuff from home.
    The occasional shopping at Walmart helps too....Those big subs for 5.89 is two meals.

    Subway subs suck. I can smell a Subway the minute I walk into a truck stop. It makes me want to gag. Its just that they sell bottom of the line.....well everything and tastes like it. Sorry rant over.

    I only go to Love's anymore. 4x points per gallon so everytime I fuel up, I get $8-9 in store/fast food credit. Used to hate going there but now I fuel nowhere else
