If someone were to sit down with you guys that was planning on building a true truck stop (not a travel center) what would be the most important creature comforts?
What do truckers really want from a truck stop?

Plenty of clean, modern showers.
Enough qualified cashiers to keep lines at the register and fuel desk moving.
Have fresh, healthy food to grab and go available.
Ample parking so I can find a space at midnight.
Personally I also like to get a good Asian massage, so offering that would be a big plus for me.subsailor Thanks this. -

t.p. that doesn't feel like loose leaf paper. I don't want that stuff smeared on me, i want it off! lol
Clean rest rooms and showers.
Reasonably priced items in the store.
Lots of parking.
A t.v. room with good movies does wonders to relieve stress.subsailor Thanks this. -

Lots of TRUCK PARKING 53 ft spaces instead of 45/48 ft spaces and a few spaces for longer loads or oversize loads. More than 1 cashier.

Why would you want a 53 foot space? Only planning on putting the trailer there?
I would think 70-75 would be a better size. Longer load and double parking are a plus as well. -
