I was wondering if I got a camp stove would I be allowed to have the propane bottle that fuels it? Also if I want to cook in my truck am I allowed to have a cutlery set?

    Yes LOL

You can get the bottles at Wal-Mart. And carry them with no problems.

They won't be looking for your cookware in a truck search

When I was running hopper bottom I had a female DOT officer look at my BOL and ask me what blood meal was . Dehydrated blood - 24 tons of it . That was the end of that inspection .

I think when you cross into Canada it is limited to a 3 inch blade.

    Switchblades are not allowed.

Well the only issue would be, crossing the border. Nothing over 4 inches.

You'll get differant responses on the legality of large knives.

But you'll have few issues, as long as they are part of a set of cutlery you keep stowed away.

Now Canada might take issue with it. But the US won't.
