logging thru spring/ fall time change

    this year i have the misfortune to be driving when the dst change occurs. I'm not sure how to log it. any help would be appreciated.

    Say you drove from 8 p.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday . You would write 3 hours driving time 12 a.m. Sunday to 4 a.m. . Your total hours for all four lines will only be 23 hours from midnight to midnight . Make a comment stating the change to Daylight Savings Time . Even if you are off duty all day , Sunday will only have 23 hours . I wonder how many will log this correctly . Actually , if you combine more than 1 day it doesn't matter because you only put 24 hours off duty anyway then note how many days .
