I just got approved through Lone Mountain and this is the finance company they are using. I don't have much experience with them yet, but hopefully this helps.

I just bought my pro star through lone mountain trucking. My advice: Don't get a truck through them unless you have credit issues that is preventing you from getting a truck any where esle. Mostly all of their trucks are fleet trucks with no maintaince records from the fleet these trucks came from. You'll get an engine protection warrenty that protects just the engine. Other wise it's an As is warrenty. You can get the truck checked out before you buy it, and they'll fix the problems. If the truck still has company computer specs on it ( e.g. Governed at 62mph) you'll have to take it to the dealership yourself and pay for it to be removed. Now if the truck have problems as soon as you take it off the lot, they'll fix it but you have to bring the truck to one of their locations, Tifon GA, Iowa, and Las Vega NV. If it looks like the problem was pre existing they'll do a repair for free but it got to be at one of their locations. Now Cresto Capital will work with you. The truck I got from them a 2010 ProStar has been having issues with the EGR cooler. They been working with me but I'm losing money with all these issues. I've already tapped into half of my emergency fund in dealing with these repairs in down time and such. Luckily for me I'm single with no kids, and have basic bills at home with no other debt except the truck. If you deal with lone mountain aka Cresto capital, save up at least 10,000 for emergencies as well as the $4,000-$6,000 down payment they want for the truck.
crzyjarmans and CellNet Thank this. -
The major reason I simply got a truck through my company ... 30 day, no questions asked, bumper to bumper warranty, work to be done wherever I chose. -

BTW, as a O/O, you should have $20k in reserve for a maintenance account with any CMV.scottlav46 and T_TRUCKER. Thank this. -
Roockie after I read about the problem with the EGR Cooler seems to me that reddove bought a Cummins one, so that has nothing to do with the lawsuits. If its a Maxforce engine I agree. I think reddove has got good points on his feedback about Crest n Lone Mountain Truck!

I'll advise people to stay away from lone mountain trucking AKA Cresto captial unless you're going to get one of their new trucks. They sold me a lemon. when I told them I was going to turn the truck back in (due to the excessive repairs) to their Iowa location. They told they was going to call me back and then the next day there was a tow truck ready to take the truck. I explained to the tow truck driver what happened and that I made all my payments. I had a load of casino machines and I wasn't going to leave right there. The tow truck guy was nice enough to let me leave to deliver my load (this was in Las Vegas). Then I received threatening texts that the police will be called. After I delivered my load and dropped the trailer, I turned the truck in at their Las Vegas location. I was told over the phone that I couldn't take my stuff out the truck and that I would have to leave or the police will be called. The staff at the Las Vegas location was nice enough to let me get my stuff out anyway. I had to hussle to find a van cab, a rental car, and a hotel at the last moment. It took 4 hours for a cab to arrive because this was a Friday night and every cab was busy. I was treated like a deadbeat who didn't make their payments. Wow. All they had to do was tell me to turn the truck in at their Las Vegas location instead of sending the tow truck like that. I filed a complaint with the BBB. And I will get a lawyer. I'm going to get another truck but later in the spring.
